I learned a system for writing effortlessly

My notetaking system wasn't so much a second brain as a filing cabinet: ideas go in, and there they die.

This system turns it into a windmill. Notes become refined through a system of processing and linking, until forgotten ideas surface on their own.

The big change came when I integrated AI. But I was careful to build guardrails around it. I didn't want AI to modify my notes; I only wanted to use it as a navigation layer.
