The Most Powerful Writing Frameworks to Write CLEARLY

Clear writing makes it easy for readers to absorb new information by hooking it onto something already in mind.

Here are four ways to supply the hook:

1. hold one topic constant,
2. chain each sentence to the end of the last,
3. name a whole before its parts,
4. or preview a list and take it in order.

These writing frameworks reflect the cognitive patterns readers use to interpret your text. When you use consciously the patterns that readers expect intuitively, your text becomes a lot more clear.
